After over a year in planning, it’s nearly time to kick-off our ‘buddies trip’ to Scotland, the home of golf! We’ll start at Nairn in the Highlands with stops in Brora, Tain & Dornoch; follow the North Coast south through Lossiemouth & Cruden Bay; and finish things up in the ‘Kingdom of Fife’ at Crail, Kingsbarns & St. Andrews.
Twelve rounds of golf are booked at coastal duneland and seaside links – five in the Highlands, two along the North Coast, and five in Fife. Some of the great names in golf architecture are represented: James Braid, Tom Morris, Donald Ross, Archie Simpson, Harry Colt, David Kidd & Mark Parsinen.
Gorse, burns, haar, pot bunkers, & sheep in the fairways. Should be epic!
Slàinte!

Have a great trip. Don’t forget your waterproofs.
Have a blast guys!
I’d really like to be losing dozens of golf balls with you and downing a few pints along the way.
I am confident you’ll have a epoch time and enjoy every moment…
Your Villages golfing buddy, Bill.
Thanks Bill!
Have a great and epic time! Jealousy will get me nowhere, but you have heard that comment from me before during your Australian adventure! Gotta love it! Hit em straight and have a few pints thinking of us folks back in the States!
Believe me we will down a few pints. If we continue to have no wind we will do our best at hitting them straight. Thanks for the comment.
Love the kilts! You may make Golf Fashion magazine. Have fun.
