This year’s trip takes us south to the red hills of Alabama where we’re playing a portion of the Robert Trent Jones Trail.

Five rounds are scheduled on 18-hole championship courses – two at the Capital Hill complex in Prattville, two at Oxmoor Valley outside of Birmingham, finishing up at the Ross Bridge course in Hoover.  There are also two rounds scheduled for the nine-hole, par-3 ‘Backyard’ course at Oxmoor.   Here’s a listing of the course map and descriptions:  RTJ Golf

The competition will be a mix of four-man, two-man, and individual matches with awards going to the overall champ and runners-up for the week.

We came in from different directions.  Bill, Ron, and Don drove down from PA. Chip drove solo as he has family to visit post-golf.  Dick, Terry, Jerry, Ed, Mike & Brian took the big bird.  Yay, yay, TSA!

Sarge and Tom joined the group from Florida with Sarge driving (and visiting old pals along the way) and Tom flying into Birmingham where he hooked up with the PA guys.  

Dinner & pints were at the GOAT restaurant in Prattville.
