After a two-year hiatus, we’re back at the Bluffs!
The Bluffs course is a links style layout characterized by rolling hills, native grasses, sod-walled bunkers, wide fairways, large greens, and great views of the lake. It’s one of the top courses in the country requiring tee times to be booked almost a year in advance.
Our round here in ’22 ended in a ‘fog-out’, hence our return to Michigan to play this fantastic course on the shores of Lake Michigan. We started the round with fog again, but it lifted quickly. Whew.
The game was an easy one – individual stoke where the player with the lowest net total wins. The side game was ‘Flying Blind’. At the end of the round, six holes are blindly selected. The player with the lowest net score for those six holes wins the game.
Sarge took first place for the singles match with Bill as runner-up. Dick won the Flying Blind side game.
