The Golden Horseshoe Gold course is considered one of the top courses in golf-rich Williamsburg. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and renovated by Rees Jones. It features on of America’s first island greens and is consistently ranked among the top 100 public courses.
Bill and Ron won the Stableford competition for the day with Al and Terry as runners-up.
Dinner and the start of libation was at the ‘Mellow Mushroom’ in Williamsburg’s main square, followed by a group stop at ‘Precarious Brewing’. One of the local universities was having graduation ceremonies throughout the week so the crowd was heavy with students celebrating freedom.
The old guys needed their rest and headed back to the condos. Dick & Mike explored Williamsburg’s well-respected pub scene.
